Discover our design methods

Please allow sufficient time to perfect your design – whether in a workshop or as a custom production. Plastic topsheets and wood designs (inlays and laser engravings) require approximately four weeks, while wood veneer topsheets only need two to three days. Of course, we always appreciate your early feedback.

Wood veneer topsheet

Wood veneers are a timelessly beautiful and simple topsheet.
We keep ten standard veneers permanently in stock. Grain and color intensity can vary – each piece remains unique.

Our range extends from elegant olive wood to classic bamboo and various types of walnut, as well as coco oak and many more.

For vibrant colors and photorealistic designs. Printed and finished like a standard ski, but with your own personal design – a unique piece.

Here you have two options. You're familiar with the process and can send us your finished design, or you can use our Design Help service and we'll help you bring your desired design to life.

Wood Design

For designs that go into detail.

Basically, you have two options for your design: inlays and laser engravings.

Inlays are inlays made of different wood veneers, which we cut with a laser and assemble like a puzzle. Engravings are burned onto the wood surface with a laser, creating a subtly engraved surface. Depending on the type of wood, the engraving appears medium to dark brown. The darker the wood, the less the engraving stands out in the end.

And how does the whole process work?

Telephone consultation and planning meeting

In an initial consultation, we will clarify all the important details by phone and find the right shape for your ski or snowboard needs.

Design sketch sheet

We'll send you a design sketch sheet (link) where you can sketch and describe your design ideas. Depending on the design method you choose, we'll need your design idea in a timely manner.

Here are our guidelines:

Plastic topsheet and wood design:

No later than 4 weeks before the workshop

Wood veneer topsheet:

2-3 days before the workshop

Design draft

Our design team works closely with you to bring your idea to life. We'll send you one or two drafts, and usually, the final design is ready after that.

While we're preparing your design, we're already working hard to ensure a smooth workshop: We're planing the cores, preparing the toppings, and gathering all the necessary materials.
